This poem was written by my sister and my niece found it while going through some boxes in storage.
Have you got the master with you as you cross your threshold ore?
Have you asked for him to guide you, help you love him more and more?
Have you asked for stronger vision that will help you see the way;
Stronger arms to share the burden of each one who shares God's way?
Have you asked for understanding when the way seems long and lone;
When you seem to be forsaken and no ray of hope is shown?
Do you beg to be more faithful, dare to follow what is right,
Even though some friends around you slip and fall into the night?
Do you ask for God to keep you humble, meek, a gently child;
Seeking peace in lowly measures, walking on the second mile?
Do you pray His overruling in the world and in your life?
If you pray then God will grant you peace and rest from sin and strife.
