The Old And New Testament

This was suggested as we study the Old Testament in our midweek study to remember that the Old Testament and the New Testament are intertwined or closely knit together. It is very interesting to look up parallels in the Old Testament that we also find in the New Testament and vice versa. One of the older brother use to say this:

"The New Testament is in the Old Testament contained,
And the Old Testament is in the New Testament explained;
The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed,
And the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed."
